Directions to Robert Allerton Park and Conference Center
The bridge into the park from Allerton
Road is closed.
Do NOT take Allerton Road from Monticello, use Old Illinois Route 47 instead.
The University of Illinois has extended directions to Allerton on their Allerton website.
- Turn off Interstate 72 at Monticello exit 164 onto Bridge Street and drive
south towards Monticello. Turn right (west) at the first crossroads which will be
old Route 47.
- Travel approximately 2 miles west and turn left (south) onto County Road 6.25E.
- At the stop sign, turn right (west) onto County Farm Road.
- Turn left (south) onto the first road you come to, which will be Old Timber Road,
and go through the brick columns. Follow the signs to the Visitors' Center
and the main parking lot.
