Editor's Message

This is my last issue as editor and I wish to thank those of you who have contributed news and items to the ConneXion. I want to especially thank the members of the CLC mathematics department who helped me put each issue together.

The new editor is Diane Koenig of Rock Valley College. Best wishes to her as she takes on this important task.

The ConneXion is a three issue per year newsletter. The following list of dates gives deadlines for the receipt of items for the indicated issues.

Fall Issue - Sep 15, 1998

Winter Issue - Jan 31, 1999

Summer Issue - May 15, 1999

Please note the copies of the 1998-99 Budget which are at the end of this issue of the ConneXion.

On a personal note, I wish to thank the organization for honoring me with the Distinguished Service Award. There is no honor greater than to be recognized by one's colleagues. Thank you so much.
