Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, IMACC Leadership and the Board have voted to cancel the IMACC annual conference at Allerton this year. If you paid for the conference by check, please email Rodger Hergert, r.hergert@rockvalleycollege.edu, to let him know if you would rather he return the check to you or shred it. Those who paid by PayPal will receive their refund in the same manner. This was a hard decision to make but we all agree that it is best given the current outbreak.

On or around April 3 or 4th, you will receive emails pertaining to items that would have normally occurred at the conference. I will greatly miss seeing everyone and appreciate all who prepared presentations and helped in so many ways. That being said, it is important to be proactive to help do our part to stop the spread of the virus.

Sincerely,
Diane Koenig

It is my extreme pleasure to announce that one of the keynote speakers is Dr. Arthur Benjamin from Harvey Mudd College. Dr. Benjamin earned his B.S. with highest honors in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie-Mellon University and his M.S.E. and Ph.D. degrees from Johns Hopkins University. He has earned numerous awards and has given over 314 talks, including 3 TED talks. He is also known as a mathemagician. I am confident you will be amazed by his mental math capabilities and you will find his presentation very enlightening. In addition there is a wide variety of presentations for the concurrent breakout sessions. Looking at the tentative schedule, I am already having difficulty deciding which ones to attend. The registration form for the conference is on the IMACC website. Make sure you send your registration in early, so you have a better chance of getting your first lodging choice.
